Wild, Green Eyed Girl

I took a class several years ago   by Jason Polock.  Each person in the class made a curved or straight line on the paper.  After about 12 people "made there mark"  this is what I got back.
I really liked the Picasso like effect and kept the paper.   This month I finally got around to making a pattern and finally completed the Art Quilt today.

  1. I think the abstract studies are quite interesting. I like to explore the different aspects of it. I want to do more. But...most people do not like abstract. Maybe we should try to educate them a little.

  2. In this case I just liked doing this abstract.
But as we all know ART is in the eye of the beholder.

  3. This is a great piece. I'm curious as to what was your first line??

    1. Emmie, I think my first line was the wavey kind of s curve right down the middle. Everyone else at the class added the other lines.
As soon as I got it back I knew it was the face of my Grand Daughter. She has a busy mind. She is cool and kind of off base sometimes. She wears lots of yellow, orange and green and has blond hair. So I uesed those colors to express her in.
